History

Starting out as a small-town general farm store in 1947, to now being the largest independently owned hardware store in America, Hartville Hardware has always made customer service our number one priority while providing an in-store experience unlike any other. Over the last 73 years, Hartville Hardware's flagship store has out-grown two locations and since 2012 has been the home of 305,000 square-feet of selling space, covering two floors. With a drive-thru lumber yard, an 1,850 square foot idea house in the center of the store, a full-service design center, a John Deere sales and service department, and one of the largest Carhartt shops around - Hartville Hardware in Hartville, Ohio is a destination shopping experience for anyone visiting Ohio.
